The Municipality of Ümraniye continues its work in bettering the conditions of education of its students. Having ensured the reconstruction for its municipal schools as well as gaining many more, the Ümraniye Municipality will be adding three more elementary schools to its list of new schools. The Municipality of Ümraniye continues to show the importance it gives to education throughout its work, whether it be through scholarly and cultural programs or the schools it has aided in the making of as well as made, thus turning Ümraniye into an educational hub. In this scope, the Ümraniye Municipality Mayor Hasan Can and philanthropist Faik Tanfer signed a protocol on building elementary schools in three of Ümraniye's neighbourhoods.
Upon consideration of their needs, the land allocation for the three elementary schools to be built in the neighborhoods of Altınşehir, Çamlık and Yukarı Dudullu was done by the Ümraniye Municipality. For a total area of approximately nine thousand metres squared, each school being three thousand metres squared, the schools will each have 18 classrooms. Each school was designed to have one basement, one ground floor and three normal floors. It is planned to have these schools be put into service in the 2017-2018 academic school year, nearly 12 months after construction starts.
