In the days following the talks between the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Ahmet Davutoğlu, the head of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) and Acting Prime Minister, in Çankaya, the cabinet of the 62nd Government was announced by Ahmet Davutoğlu, the Acting Prime Minister of Turkey.

In the days following the talks between the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Ahmet Davutoğlu, the head of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) and Acting Prime Minister, in Çankaya, the cabinet of the 62nd Government was announced by Ahmet Davutoğlu, the Acting Prime Minister of Turkey.

Being given the power to form the 62nd Government by the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the new head of AK Party and the Acting Prime Minister presented the new cabinet line-up to the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. After he left the Çankaya Presidential Mansion, Ahmet Davutoğlu, the head of Ak Party and the Acting PM announced the new cabinet at a press meeting held at the Prime Ministry Service Building. In the cabinet where 4 new names have been given place, Numan Kurtulmuş and Yalçın Akdoğan will take office as the Deputy Prime Minister while Volkan Bozkır as the Minister for EU Affairs and Nurettin Canikli as the Minister of Customs and Trade.

The cabinet members announced by Ahmet Davutoğlu, the Acting Prime Minister are as follows:

Minister of Family and Social Policies: Ayşenur İslam

Minister of Labour and Social Security: Faruk Çelik 
Minister of Environment and Urbanisation: İdris Güllüce
Minister of Foreign Affairs: Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu
Minister of Economy: Nihat Zeybekçi
Minister of Energy and Natural Resources: Taner Yıldız
Minister of Youth and Sports: Akif Çağatay Kılıç
Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock: Mehmet Mehdi Eker
Minister of Customs and Trade: Nurettin Canikli 
Minister of Internal Affairs: Efkan Ala
Minister of Development: Cevdet Yılmaz
Minister of Culture and Tourism: Ömer Çelik
Minister of Finance: Mehmet Şimşek
Minister of National Education: Nabi Avcı
Minister of National Defence: İsmet Yılmaz
Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs: Veysel Eroğlu
Minister of Health: Mehmet Müezzinoğlu
Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications: Lütfi Elvan"

Following the announcement, Ahmet Davutoğlu, the new Head of AK Party and the Acting Prime Minister said “May Allah let us serve in the best way to our nation” wishing good luck to the new cabinet.
