Duties of our Directorate
1. Expressing opinions about legal subjects asked from other units of our Municipality, as well as transactions that may cause legal, financial and penal results.
2. Taking necessary legal precautions that protects interests of the Municipality and prevents disputes, at the right time; assisting in shaping agreements and contracts in accordance with these principles.
3. Preparing necessary information at administrative suits and legal cases; and represent the Municipality at trials.
4. Preparation of required legal proposals and presenting them to the Mayor, for the purpose of realizing targets of the Municipality better, ensuring to work in accordance with the legislation, plans and programs.
5. Expressing opinions by reviewing plans and programs prepared by the other units of the Municipality, in terms of legal conditions.
6. Carrying out operations regarding examination and auditing services which laws deemed necessary to be conducted by the Directorate of Legal Affairs of the Municipality.
